Our journey began in August 2012, when we were working at Outback Steakhouse in Bloomington, Indiana. We both had to stay late after a large party came in a few minutes before close. From that moment on, we knew there was something special about each other.

Lauren was instantly drawn to Jeff's great hair and infectious laughter. Meanwhile, Jeff couldn’t help but wonder where this new server came from with her clever comments and quick wits. We became fast friends and spent time together around Bloomington with each other's dogs who got along just as well as we did.

In a few short months, our friendship blossomed into something deeper. We shared countless adventures, from snowboarding at Paoli, to spontaneous road trips to Buffalo. Each experience brought us closer, and we realized that we had found our perfect partner in each other.

In 2024, we took another trip to Buffalo. And with Randy's blessing, the help of Erin and Brad, and a ring hidden in the spare tire compartment, Jeff’s secret plan was revealed. “LAUREN MCKNIGHT WILL YOU MARRY ME” was displayed on a local movie theater marquee. It was a moment filled with love, excitement, and a promise of a beautiful future together.

Now, as we prepare to say "I do," we are so grateful for the journey that has brought us here. Our love story is one of laughter, adventure, and unwavering support. We can’t wait to celebrate our love with you on October 18th 2025!!
